Recently the VA announced they would give 3 million dollars to anyone who could give them an answer as to why Veterans were committing suicide. According to the VA's records it says 65,000 vets died with this diagnosis.
It's not just the Vets. What this should tell you is there is something on the market that is mass poisoning the public and it depletes serotonin being responsible for mental disease. I assure you the Veterans Administration knows, they didn't have to ask. The FDA knows as well and Dr. James Bowen told the FDA 40 years ago. The product is aspartame which goes by many different names from NutraSweet and Equal to E951, Neotame and AminoSweet, and more. Here is the letter:

Martini: Original letter sent to FDA over thirty years ago: An agent came to Dr. James Bowen's clinic to complain about the letter and Dr. Bowen gave her 29 more reports of aspartame disease victims (now titled Rumfeld's Plague). Dr. Bowen said she tried to refuse to accept them. They already knew. In the meantime Rumsfeld's plague has maimed or murdered millions the world over. Dr. Bowen suffers Lou Gehrigs from this toxin and is chemically hypersensitive for life. The 1000 page medical text "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" is by the late world expert H J. Roberts, M.D. There are many other medical texts that have been written about aspartame being deadly over the years such as "Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills" by Russell Blaylock, M.D., and "While Science Sleeps: A Sweetener Kills" by Dr. Woodrow Monte who calls it a killing machine. The last one published is "Double Blind: Science, Corruption & the Diseases of Civilization" by Dr. Ralph Walton who is a psychiatrist.

STATEMENT TO THE FDA ON FOOD LABELING -

My statement for the public record regarding food labeling and the aspartame issue is serious if not somewhat facetious at times. The reason for this is because I have found little evidence of honesty, integrity or stability on the part of Food & Drug Administration officials regarding the aspartame issue, since its approval in 1981. This attitude is largely shared by the general public. I come in contact with approximately two new people each week who are now being or who have in the past been poisoned by aspartame.
All of them share the same reactions that it is not worth writing to the FDA or NutraSweet, because you and your agency have run amuck and are no longer a valid public benefactor.
The recent revelations about the problems surrounding generic drug approvals are compelling evidence of what happens when an agency considered itself above the law in dealing with these matters. In my opinion, this has resulted in the mass poisoning of the American public as well as seventy-plus countries in the rest of the world. Watching FDA officials walk through the "revolving door" and be further rewarded by being promoted to other positions of high public responsibility is clear evidence of a government out of control.
For this reason, I am opposed to labeling aspartame content of food and drinks. To do so would imply that the government is taking some sort of responsible action...when the only responsible action would be to immediately take aspartame off the market, fully disclose its toxicities, offer full compensation to the injured, public and criminally prosecute anyone who participated in the fraudulent placement of aspartame on the marketplace. That includes those who work so diligently to keep in on the market as well.
Further, to label the purported aspartame content of a product would cover a number of toxic flaws in the product and its allowable daily intake (ADI) as follows:
1 That the amount stated on the label was accurate and factual rather than theoretical. Aspartame breaks down relatively quickly in solution. Given the well established modus operandi of the manufacturer, there is no concern given the ultimate consumer. And cover-ups seem to be a part of the routine of doing business. The public should be well advised that the amounts really used in liquid products are relatively greater than those stated to accomplish a relative compensation for the loss of product sweetness occurring during storage in solution.
2.That the ADI presently allowed is 50% greater than that expected to cause a reversal of the phenylalanine/tyrosine ratios in the human brain. This has profoundly bad implications for the human being, including dopamine and serotonin synthesis inhibition, causing depression, appetite changes, mental inabilities, increased susceptibility to seizures and a host of neurohormonal problems.
3.Every known metabolite of aspartame is of marked or questionable toxicity and patently unsafe for human use. Methyl alcohol is metabolized to nascent formaldehyde in the eye, nervous system and other metabolically active organs. It immediately attacks and denatures the tissue structure proteins in which is metabolized to nascent formaldehyde. This stimulates specific organ and subcellular autoimmunity which seems to be a preponderant source of the bad experiences reported by NutraSweet victims. Aspartic Acid is a neuroexcitotoxic present in damaging amounts, it own right, at the ADI for aspartame. Simple logic tells one that it will vastly increase the metabolism of methyl alcohol to formaldehyde attach there. This corresponds well with the symptomalogies often experienced, such as Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), bulbar palsies, neurohormonal disorders, diketopiperazine issue remains totally unresolved and dangerous. The amino acids that are released by hydrolysis, form eimers and isomers that are either not sufficiently studied, or which are known substrates in undesirable pathological states such as Alzheimer's disease.
4.There is the issue of the approval of aspartame for market, which has violated every principle of responsible science and responsible government. Everyone responsible for this hearing should at least completely review the approval process and the comments of the participants and observers who have so excellently elucidated all the malfeasance for the public record, such as Dr. Adrian Gross and many, many others (all on the public record).
In light of the above 4 points, I highly recommend that you deny in every way possible any subterfuge of respectability that the aspartame people have enshrouded themselves and their product within hopes of quickly denying its access to the worldwide marketplace. I write this, not believing that it will do the slightest bit of good in the sense of affecting the labeling issue per se, but that instead, it might reach some honest, concerned, conscientious individuals in the process.

In 2018 I wrote an article for the National Health Federation, "Aspartame Depletes Brain Neurotransmitters: May be Contributing to the Lowering of the Quality of Human Thinking". I discuss Dr. Ralph Walton's study he conducted to see whether individuals with mood disorders are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of aspartame. The study showed that, indeed, there were significant negative effects upon those study participants who had a history of depression. The negative effects were so bad, though, that the study had to be stopped early, even though the researchers were not exceeding the maximum allowable intake of aspartame for their subjects.
It also states that Dr. Walton and his colleagues' research has been more recently supported in 2017 by an extensive study conducted on rats. In this study, the researchers saw a dose-dependent relationship between the rats' aspartame consumption and the destruction of neurotransmitters in their brains necessary for the proper function of neurons.
Here is where the study confirms what doctors and scientists have been saying for 40 years. "Serotonin levels were down by almost 74% while epinephrine (adrenaline) levels were alarmingly increased by 500%. So, while aspartame depresses the neurotransmitter associated with well-being and happiness (and which modulates cognition, reward, learning, memory and other beneficial physiological processes), it also greatly increases the neurotransmitter associated with fear and anger."
I wrote the article because the Atlanta Journal Constitution had been writing about the epidemic of childhood suicides. I went on to say that among aspartame's many other negative effects is that brain tissue exposed to aspartame and its metabolites becomes even more easily oxidized. And with that oxidation, those who consume aspartame are more exposed to the harmful effects of vaccine ingredients such as mercury and aluminum, toxic food contaminants and additives, pesticide residues and other modern-day chemicals. Now they want to give the "jab" to 6 month old babies who are not at risk of any corona virus and Dr. Michael Yeadon who worked for Pfizer 20 years, and chief scientist, said people can die in a couple of years, and three years to be generous. It's not even a vaccine but a gene therapy developed under the classification of nano bioweapon. The combination of aspartame and this nano bioweapon is suicide.

It seems it required a special way to get the data. I knew what was in it. In fact, I was in England lecturing when there was a meeting there investigating and I sent copies of material to be added. When I attempted to get this report I got death threats. So this letter is made public. Sometime later in Costa Rica I met someone from Military Intelligence who was in Afghanistan. He told me the military were complaining the water was bad. They were giving the men little packets of aspartame to flavor the water. The gent from Military Intelligence said he told the men not to use it, that aspartame is a poison, and that's why they were sick.
When I was on the Deborah Duncan Show about twenty years ago one of the victims I had them interview was Mary Reiff. She suffered from aspartame triggered seizures and was in an accident. She went blind from the methanol. We got her off of aspartame and her seizures stopped and a year later she regained her sight. As she was about to walk on the show I noticed her arms showed where she had used a razor to slit her wrists. I asked her about it and she said, "When I used NutraSweet all I could think of was killing myself. As soon as I got off of it the suicide tendencies disappeared." I have heard that many times.
As to the 3 million reward think how this would help all the victims whose lives were destroyed and so many ended up in mental hospitals. I ended the article saying: "And here is the kicker. More and more mental hospitals are being built to accommodate the increasing number of patients. Tragically they are giving those patients diet drinks and psychiatric drugs that interact. Can we think of anything more stupid? Well, of course, we can, but this is pretty close to taking the prize."

Chronic, excessive exposure, and accumulation of neurotoxic agents such as heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium), mefloquine (Lariam), and food additives such as monosodium glutamate and aspartame cause neurotoxicity and brain damage. This chemical-induced brain damage closely resembles the pathophysiology of classical traumatic brain injury with decreased cognitive function, neurodegeneration, and increased psychiatric manifestations (depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and irritability). Current evidence supports a strong causal relationship between military-related exposure to specific neurotoxins, and the development of serious medical conditions and HIGHER RATES OF SUICIDE among service members. To address this current deficit in military health care, it is recommended that efficacious, nontoxic, neuroprotective, and neuroregenerative agents such as highly bioavailable magnesium, nutritional lithium, zinc, selenium, boron, ascorbate, tocopherols, heavy metal chelators, and glutathione precursors such as N-acetyl-cysteine be immediately used as a "protective shield" and to support critical healing processes in the brain and nervous system.
